Making Butter!

Today we used heavy whipping cream, salt and yellow food coloring to make butter. We put all of our ingredients in a bowl and shook it while we sang our butter song.  We talked about how it changed from a liquid to a solid. We also discussed what farm animal gave us the cream that we used.  They all loved tasting it our butter!
