Math Stations

I had to take a few pictures of math  this week. We have been having so much fun! We used play-doh to make 2-D shapes. We had to describe the attributes of our shape to a partner.  Ask your child to describe the attributes of a circle, oval, square, rectangle, triangle, and rhombus.

We played a game at game center called "Guess my Shape." One student as to give the other one clues of what shape is on their headband  by describing the attributes of it.  They loved this game.

We counted snowballs (cotton balls) into numbered cups at tubs.

At teacher table we compared numbers using the words more, less and equal.

At our math literacy station we read a counting bug book and wrote our numbers from 1-20.
