During literacy centers we read a poem about 100 days of school.
We counted by 10's and put the number words in order on the pocket chart.
In our math tub station we chose a tub and made 100 by making 10 sets of 10.
In our math game center we played "Race to 100!" We rolled a die to fill in a 10's frame 10 times. The first friend to 100 was the winner.
We practiced writing our numbers to 100.
One of our friends made this cute sign and I couldn't resist hanging it up and taking a picture!
During calendar time we took off our last sticky note and uncovered the number 100!
Then we counted to 100 by 1's, 10's, 5's, and 2's!
We bundled all of straws in our place value chart and moved them to the 100's pocket.
We added another tally mark to make 100!
We had special stations on the 100th day. At this station we stamped 10 stamps on 10 pages to make a book of 100 stamps.
We wrote 100 tally marks on a giant 100 and practiced counting by 5's.
We counted our 100 collection with a friend.
We made a 100th day caterpillar hat. We counted by 10's on 10 circles.
We used a balance scale to see whose 100th day collection was heavier/lighter.
We had a wonderful 100th day! Only 76 days left of kindergarten! I can't believe how fast this year is going by!!!!
