Wow! This week is flying by! We had parent conferences on Monday so it was a short week for us. Here are some of the things we did this week!

We continued to read about community helpers at the pocket chart. We read about things we see at the fire station. We had to circle our new word wall word see on our paper too.

We found words in the room that began with the letter Nn. How many other words can you think of at home that begin with that letter?

We listened to If you Give a Cat a Cupcake at listening center. We had to draw the main character and use 3 words to describe him. A lot of friends said the cat was crazy!

At game center we rolled a die with the numbers 4-9 on it and used seeds to represent that number on a pumpkin. We compared numbers using the words more, less, and equal.

At math literacy we read a dinosaur counting book. Then we used a dinosaur stamper to represent each number on a dinosaur foot.

At science center we sorted healthy and not healthy foods and then wrote a healthy food shopping list. What do you like to eat that is healthy?
At math tubs we used legos to build patterns.

Our room mom brought birthday treats to celebrate my birthday! Thanks again to all of the wonderful families that made my day so special!

FIELD TRIP DAY!!!!

This is the class pumpkin we picked out on our field trip this week. It was really heavy!!!

Our class had so much fun at Pumpkins on the Prarie! I will be working on a video to post soon!!!
