PLANT PARTS

We have been learning about the different parts of plants and what the job is of each part.
We observed many different types of plants in our garden and looked for the parts we are learning about: flower, stem, leaves, roots, & seeds.

We rotated through different tables to paint the different parts of a sunflower plant. We began by gluing on some "soil."

Then we painted sunflower seeds with our thumbs.

Then we painted the petals.

We added the stem and leaves,

And the roots.

After the paint dried we labeled the parts.
