Snapshots of our learning...

It was another fun week in kindergarten! We started guided reading this week. It was the highlight of my week! They had so much fun reading "just right" books.  I can't wait for them to take them home to share with you on Friday!
Here are a few pictures I took this week:

Our new color word poem "yellow"
We are practicing making the pointer match our voice.

We made a tower of 10 cube and measured things that were longer, shorter and equal to the length of our tower.

We fancied up our writing and Mrs. Moore published it for us. Then we illustrated it like a real book.

We made alphabet trains at magnetic letter center and put the alphabet in order from A to Z!

In science we have been learning about living and nonliving things. We took a nature walk to find some living and non living things outside. Here are a few photos we got. Please have your child tell you what is living and nonliving.
